Summary
Environmental friendliness and high energy density of hydrogen make it a promising sustainable energy source. Hydrogen can therefore address the issues of energy and the environment. However, cost-effective hydrogen production with sustainable methods is essential. The fuel of the future is thought to be hydrogen. Among the catalytic methods for generating hydrogen are steam and dry reforming processes, dehydrogenation, gasification, and water-gas shift.
There are serious health and environmental risks associated with the release of wastewater from sectors, especially the textile sector, that contain synthetic dyes. Coffee and tea waste were an inexpensive, sustainable, and eco-friendly reducing agent for the elimination of contamination from aqueous solutions.
The aim of this Special search is to discuss the field of catalytic hydrogen production and application for reduction of some organic pollutants from biowastes.
