• Summary

the core of the project is to develop gold nanoparticles-based colorimetric assays for diagnosis of diabetic nephropathy. it is anticipated that using nanotechnology will improve early diagnosis of diabetic nephropathy using sensitive, specific, rapid, non-invasive and inexpensive test as compared to developing  countries with limited resources and high incidence rates of diabetes mellitus, such as Egypt.
