BIOGRAPHY:
Dr. Hala Abdel Wahab is currently working as an Associate Professor of Plant Pathology and a head of lab. "Molecular Diagnostic of Plant Diseases", Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt. She obtained her Ph.D. from Paris-Sud University, France, in 2006, and her Postgraduate diploma (D.R.U.) from Institute National Polytechnique de Toulouse (INSAT), France (2000-2001). She has achieved many publications, one patent, and 2 grants. She serves as an Editorial Board member and reviewer for many scientific publication Journals. She has participated in various national and international conferences and also gives copious presentations in her specialty.
RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Dr. Hala Abdel Wahab’s research is focused on the molecular and hyperspectral aspects of plant pathogens especially for early diagnosis, rapid detection, pathogen identification, plant protection and genomic analysis.
